Come enjoy an experience at Eagles Nest by entering the two story
german siding building. The building was originally built for a butcher
shop. The hooks, trap door, twin fire pits with chimney, black iron
kettles, and copper kettle are all still in working condition. The bell on top
of the shop was used to bring the men in from the fields for dinner.

The two story farm house is surrounded by a white picket fence. In the
perimeters of the private yard is the original brick ice/smoke house
that is now being used as a garden shed.

You will see cats meandering around the gardens and the family dog,
Dione, will more that likely greet you. He likes to keep a watch over the
farm, especially the private yard. You may even get to watch a horse
and buggy pass by on their way to town.
